Colourary Privacy Policy

Effective 26 August 2026

Colourary is designed to work without an account, advertising or tracking. The developer does not collect personal data through the app.

Photos

When you choose a photo using Apple's system photo picker, Colourary receives only the item you select. Colour extraction and sampling take place on your device. Colourary does not upload your photo to a developer-operated server or retain a separate copy.

Saved work

Colours, palettes and colour systems you save are stored locally on your device. Colourary does not provide an account, backend or cloud-sync service.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

Colourary does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, does not use advertising identifiers and does not track you across apps or websites.

External links

Colourary includes a link to official W3C accessibility guidance. When you open an external website, that website's own privacy practices apply. Colourary does not receive your browsing activity from that website.

Children

Colourary is a general colour utility and is not specifically directed at children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults.

Changes

If Colourary's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before the relevant app version is released.
